What is the ₹99 advance booking?
We cook everything fresh — no pre-made stock. Your ₹99 advance booking confirms your order slot and helps us procure fresh ingredients specifically for your batch. The remaining amount is collected at the time of delivery (COD). You can also pay the full amount upfront and get a flat 5% discount.
Is Cash on Delivery (COD) available?
Yes! Pay just ₹99 advance to confirm your order, and pay the remaining amount to the delivery agent when your order arrives. Simple and hassle-free.
Do I get a discount for paying online?
Yes — full prepaid orders get a flat 5% discount automatically. Prepaid orders also get faster dispatch priority. You can pay via UPI, cards, or net banking to avail this discount.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm), Credit & Debit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay), Net Banking, and Cash on Delivery (COD). All online payments are processed securely through Razorpay / Shopify Payments with 256-bit SSL encryption.
My payment failed but amount was deducted. What do I do?
Don't worry — if your payment failed but the amount was deducted, it will be automatically refunded to your account within 5–7 business days by your bank/payment provider. If you don't receive the refund within 7 days, email us at support@apnaswad.co with your transaction details and we'll help resolve it.
Can I cancel my order after placing it?
You can cancel within 2 hours of placing your order (before cooking begins) for a full refund of the ₹99 advance. Once food preparation has started, the advance is non-refundable since ingredients have already been procured for your batch.

Do you charge for shipping?
No — shipping is completely free on all orders across India. No minimum order value required. Every single order ships free, always.
How long does delivery take?
Total estimated delivery is 4–9 days from order confirmation:
Step 1: Fresh preparation — 24–48 hours (your batch is cooked fresh after your ₹99 booking)
Step 2: Shipping via Shiprocket — 3–7 business days depending on your location
You'll receive a real-time tracking link on WhatsApp once dispatched.

How do I track my order?
Once your order is dispatched, you'll receive a tracking link via WhatsApp and/or email. You can use this link to track your shipment in real-time. You can also visit our Track Order page or email us your order number.
What if my order is delayed?
While we strive to deliver within the estimated timeframe, occasional delays can happen during festivals or due to courier issues. If your order is delayed beyond 10 business days, please contact us and we'll investigate and resolve it immediately.
Do you ship internationally?
Currently, we only ship within India. International shipping may be available in the future. Stay tuned!

Do you use any preservatives?
Absolutely not. All our products are made with zero preservatives, zero artificial colours, and zero chemicals. Just pure, fresh ingredients — wheat flour, jaggery/sugar, desi ghee, dry fruits, and natural spices. That's it.
What is the shelf life of your products?
Best consumed within 15–20 days of delivery when stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep the pouch sealed after opening. Refrigeration can extend shelf life further.
Do you have sugar-free options?
Yes! We have a dedicated Sugar-Free Collection — Thekua, Perukiya, and Nimki made with stevia and natural date sweeteners. Perfect for diabetics and health-conscious customers. Check our Sugar-Free collection page for details.
Are you FSSAI licensed?
Yes. Apna Swad is operated by Parvarish Food Processing LLP, which is fully FSSAI Licensed (Lic. No: 23324003001715) and GST Registered (GSTIN: 07ABEFP6271D1ZA). We follow all food safety standards and hygiene protocols.
What products do you sell?
We specialise in authentic Bihar sweets and snacks:
• Thekua — in Jaggery, Jaggery + Desi Ghee, Sugar, and Sugar-Free variants
• Perukiya (Gujiya) — in Khoya Dry Fruits, Khoya Desi Ghee, and Sugar-Free variants
• Nimki (Namak Para) — in Classic, Ajwain, Masala, and Desi Ghee variants
Each product is available in 250g, 400g, and 800g packs.

Do your products contain allergens?
Yes — most of our products contain wheat (gluten) and may contain traces of nuts. Desi ghee products contain dairy. Full allergen information is listed on each product page. Please review carefully if you have any food allergies.
Returns & Refunds
Refund & replacement policy
What if my product arrives damaged or stale?
Contact us within 24 hours of delivery with clear photos of the product at support@apnaswad.co. We will provide a full replacement or full refund — your choice. Your satisfaction is our priority.
Can I return food products?
Since all our products are freshly cooked food items, standard returns are not applicable due to hygiene and food safety reasons. However, we fully support any genuine quality issues with replacement or refund.
How long does a refund take?
Refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5–7 business days after the issue is verified. For COD orders, refunds are processed via bank transfer — we'll ask for your bank details.
Is the ₹99 advance refundable?
Yes, if you cancel within 2 hours of placing your order (before cooking begins). No, once food preparation has started — since ingredients have already been procured and cooking has begun for your specific batch.
